The Fish Line in Columbia, SC might look like a hole-in-the-wall, but don’t let that fool you—it’s truly a diamond in the rough. The customer service was great, full of jokes, laughter, and loud talking. Don’t mistake the energy for attitude—come in with a sense of humor and you’ll feel like part of the family right away. There are no tables since it’s all takeout, but trust me, you’ll be digging into your food before you even make it to the car. I started with the catfish, and let me tell you—fried to perfection. Well-seasoned, crispy, and easily one of the best I’ve had. I also tried the snapper, which wasn’t quite as seasoned as the catfish, but still had really good flavor. The sides hit the mark too. Stopped here for lunch while I was in town. This place is a true definition of a hole in the wall. The building looks sketchy and the inside rundown but let me tell you about this food because sometimes hole in the walls have the best food. The catfish fillets are seasoned well and fried to perfection. The shrimp was plump and juicy. Service was friendly with a smile. There is no place to really eat here so expect to order your food and take it elsewhere to eat. I don't live in Columbia SC but next time I am down for a visit I will definitely order again.

First time visiting this establishment. I called in and ordered a pound of Shrimp, and their 4 piece Whiting Basket. Everything was delicious! I was pleased to see that the shrimp were good size.I will definitely be back for my seafood fix.

Perfectly cooked catfish nuggets. Some of the best fried okra I've ever had. The people that run this Southern Jewel know what they're doing.
