Good spot with potential. The food and service were good, though the real standout is the beautiful lake view from the deck. The lunch menu is small and basic, but the fries were unique and delicious. The wings were also great. Fun atmosphere, toddler-friendly.

Came here after playing 18 holes at the new Lakewood Links (previously Alburg Golf Links). The course and the restaurant are both under new ownership so I wasn’t sure what to expect, especially given they just opened (the bartender told me it was their second day of service). First impression was that they did an incredible job with the clubhouse interior. All new decor, furniture, two brand new shuffleboard tables, a super stylish bar setup and brand. I was really impressed. Sat outside on the enormous outdoor deck that overlooks the first tee box / fairway, and lake champlain. Awesome view. Great spot with outstanding views of lake Champlain. We dined on the outside deck with panoramic views of the lake, Bonus was watching golfers tee off the first tee. Food was very good (we had the Bang bang shrimp and Shrimp Alla Vodka ) with excellent service. Only downside is that prices are a bit high and add up quickly. However, all things considered, we will be back.

Pretty good food and environment- a bit overpriced but typical of "seasonal" operations. Physical location nicely updated by new owners. Currently management doesn't allow separate checks which is short-sighted in an establishment of this sort. Hopefully, being new owners, they will be willing to change policy to fit the needs of the clientele. We were told a party of 8 needed to take the check and "break it down ourselves" (including the taxes and tip ) - very awkward. "Point-of-sale" software in modern foodservice enables establishments to easily provide separate checks. Not doing so (and adding a mandatory 20% tip for service not provided) is a decision that might be reconsidered to service the customer properly and encourage repeat business. Excellent lunch spot. The cheddar ale soup was delicious. Excellent club sandwich with unique tasty French fried. Really nice lake view.
