The Farmer's Diner

Even under duress, the food was excellent and served with a smile. The hot, fluffy and fresh biscuits with gravy were the best I've had. The sausage choice was creative and the gravy tasty, complimenting every bite. Creamy and dreamy. The Apple Spice French toast is more than enough for two people! Piled high and made with a tender, Texas toast, a creamy layer in the middle of the stack, real whipped cream, lots of cinnamon-y goodness and real maple syrup is a winner. Cutting in to it is a delight waiting to please the palate. The homemade banana bread, grilled, is hearty and delicious on its own. Buttered or not, it's sure to be a popular to-go item. The bottomless cup of Omar coffee is alive and well, thank you! It's always a good day when someone decides to open up a new business.

We were 7 and all 7 of us loved our meals. Excellent chef. You must try. Very creative menu as well. Can't wait to be back. Too bad Im from NYC and can only come when I visit my son in Uconn.

The food is cooked fresh and they have a huge variety of muffins. Plenty of seating, and it's clean. The staff is very gossipy though, and I think they need to keep their opinions about others to themselves while working.

Have been 3-4 times now. Very good food. I've had GREAT service each time. GREAT coffee. Have had Breakfast, Sunday Brunch and Lunch.
