The Farmer's Daughter

I love this shop! The few meat items I've purchased from Newman Farms have been superb (I'd buy more but I have limited freezer space at the moment). I prefer to stop by here to stock up on minced ginger, local honeys and jams and check out all the different local products available. Also in love with the house plants available now. I'd take them all home. Kristin is always friendly and helpful!

What a cool little store, very clean, friendly proptipter. Farm fresh meats, herbs and spices kitchen items. Candles and the best smelling soap i belive i have ever smelt. I will definitely be going back. Oh, and they have classes, cooking class, first aide classes. 5 stars definitely

Fantastic place, with quality, local meats, dairy, produce, goods, gifts, and even prepared food! The owner Kristen is super sweet and very knowledgeable of her products. Kristen and her family also support the area schools, in an amazing way! The Farmer's Daughter is a true asset to Thayer. If you haven't already, go check them out. They even have real, local, milk, with the cream, on top. 😉

I may be biased, Kristin and Chassie are neighbors. The store Kristin created is so cute and fresh boutique grocery experience. The products are good and fresh. The best deli sliced ham!!!
