The Emerald Isle

Love going here. Great tacos and wings. They carry a large selection of beer for the small location they have. It is a nice place to kick back and enjoy company if friends after a nice ride on the trail. The staff is always friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

Have wanted to try the tenderloins here for a long time. Finally had the chance. Tenderloin did not disappoint. Fries were perfect. We also had the buffalo ones. Not spicy. Like thin potato wedges with light seasoning. New ownership. Cards are allowed.

Finally made it to a champion of the Tenderloin Trail and it did not disappoint. We both had the tenderloin sandwich and it was an excellent example of Iowa's state dish. A true tenderloin and the breading was not overwhelming so you get a very pork-forward experience. Fries were good and we also had gizzards and fried cauliflower, both very good. No beer on tap but a surprisingly decent variety in cans and bottles - if you have Guinness and Shiner Bock, you're okay by me. It wasn't busy on an early Thursday evening but the service was still great. Food came out hot and delicious. A great experience and we will be back.

The food was delicious. We both got the tenderloin sandwich and fries. We could of shared the meal. It was an excellent sandwich and will be back.

Very popular, busy place. We went for the breaded pork tenderloin and it was great. Service was very friendly and helpful but spread a little thin for all the customers... but they were hustling. Taco specials on Tuesdays, and wing specials on Wednesday.
