The Eleanor Pool

I have gone to the Eleanor Pool a LOT this summer! They offer various seating options. The life guards are all extremely attentive to the pool and guests and very polite and make you feel comfortable. They offer a big and small diving board and a medium-sized fun slide. The concessions are great and well priced. Overall in my opinion the best public pool in WV to go to.

Nice family pool. Reasobably priced $5 but no floatation devices allowed even though front desk said yes. Will probably come again with family

Great public pool. Very clean and the staff are very polite and respectful to all the swimmers. They offer swimming slots of about 15+ minutes for adults only. I love that this means the kids take a break from splashing and are able to get a snack, redo sunscreen, and potty. It also allows us adults to have a calm swimming moment.

Cool place. Great pool. Chlorine didnt burn my eyes and the park is a great place to camp and set up tents.

Warning, do NOT sit or lean on the walls - the paint will ruin your bathing suit. Be prepared to deal with footballs hitting you because the lifeguards refuse to stop them. I have a shoulder issue - took a direct hit from a football and the boys had to be told by my husband to apologize and stop throwing it near us. Babies and small children were in the pool with this and other footballs landing near them or being deflected by parents - unacceptable. The kids were throwing footballs over the diving board while people were using the diving board - several near misses and a few hits yet life guards turned a blind eye. As a woman I would like to suggest the girls that laid down in the lifeguard lounge to please turn their butts from the door way-no one needs to see your butt! Kid manage
