The Drive In

Bring your own seasoning. Flounder and shrimp were beautifully fried, but the batter lacked flavor. Tea was OK. Fries were good. Coleslaw tasted odd. I did not dare take a second fork full of it to solve this mystery. Based on my experience I can not recommend The Drive In with a good conscience.

Our first eating at the restaurant. So many flabbergasted at the menu, so many choices, the employee at the counter was very impatient and seemed bothered at our taking orders. But the food was worth the rudeness. The portions are huge. We ordered the fish and french fries and he couldn't eat half of his food. And the hamburger was delicious.

The food is similar to your average Cafeteria style food with more seasoning. It is a drive in similar to Sonic. They have a variety of foods. Burgers, chicken sandwiches, tenders, Gyros...French Fries, Bakes Potatoes...Etc

Got the drive in Friday night and finished it Saturday. It was a ton of good food. I have literally had everything thing on the menu, but I always circle back to the double burger w/ cheese box, fry onion ring mix with salad and HOUSE dressing. Make sure you get extra house dressing to dip in. Can't wait to go back.

We adored the retro feel of the restaurant! The attendants were so helpful and made certain you ordered in a timely fashion. They have burgers/hot dogs, fries, or full meals such as shrimp and fried chicken with an array of sides. Our burgers were fantastic! The hot dog had potential to be good. Yet, it taste like it had been sitting in water all day and lost it's texture, color, and 90% of its flavor. We'd definitely return for another burger and other menu options! 🙂
