The Doyle Hotel

I meant to write this review like two months ago. This was my first full experience at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it! As section hiker of the AT, this was the perfect spot to stay the night before my hike. It’s affordable, the staff is great, and the bar atmosphere and food is wonderful! Not to mention, good beer. :-) Highly recommend The Doyle if you’re looking for a fun getaway. The locals are pretty awesome as well! Safe travels folks. Years ago I used to eat here several times a year when passing by. I had not been there since the new owners have it, which has been 4 years. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the improvements. I was thinking about getting the bourbon salmon or the Maui Maui. Then I noticed they had Ukrainian borscht. When I asked about it, it turns out they are Ukrainian. I couldn't pass that up. A very large meal size bowl and comes with the side of your choice. It was absolutely wonderful! Especially considering the chilly weather. Very flavorful, extremely filling and satisfying!

Been here a few times for music, beer, and food. I would recommend to ask if anything is spicy... there has been a few times I ordered items that I did not expect to be spicy... and they were. Great history and architecture! . Always have a good time! The smoked salmon BLT is awesome! I also enjoy the Cuban!

this place is PHENOMENAL!!! the service is alway amazing no matter who the bartender is, they always pay attention to refills/clearing plates. kelly is mine and my boyfriend’s favorite!!! she is super personable and gave us an amazing first experience here. we keep coming back because of her!! the food is freakin awesome and the drinks are amazing every time. it’s the perfect little spot to frequent, i love living so close 🤗

My friend and I stayed at the Doyle Hotel in mid-December. Unfortunately, the block the hotel is located on lost power during our stay, which was out of their control. We have to give a huge shoutout to the owners and staff member Tim, who were incredibly accommodating. They brought us extra blankets, moved us to an alternate room with a wall-mounted gas heater, and as it started to get dark, they even brought us a candle! Luckily, the power was restored before the restaurant/bar opened for dinner! Our meal at the downstairs restaurant was fantastic. We enjoyed fresh-cut French fries, a delicious salad topped with steak! After dinner, we had the pleasure of watching Shea Quinn perform in the upstairs room/bar. It was fascinating to see the hotel transition from a quiet, power-less build
