The Downtown Grille

Atmosphere was great! Super clean and well spaced. Lighting was good and noise level was perfect for a romantic evening. Food was well spaced and gave plenty of time for digestion and conversation. All protein items appeared to be locally sourced which i HIGHLY support! We ordered the shrimp and squid ink pasta for appetizer, pum’kin cocktail for drink, burger and butternut squash pasta for entrées, and the apple crisp for desert. All items were cooked appropriately and came with excellent presentation and plenty of flavors. Biggest knock for me was the fact that the burger was too salty (really strange for a burger) and the fries though beautiful didn’t hit the mark. Amazing experience in downtown WS. Great food and great service. The food is exquisitely prepared and has beautiful presentation. The wine list is extensive. The vibe is cute and modern.

We had a bunch of small plates (scallops, shishito peppers, crab dip, and octopus) and they were all great. The bread that came with the crab dip was a bit hard but that was the only minor problem. The service was excellent.

Everything was wonderful. It was a bit bright for a romantic dinner, and wish tables could allow for sitting next to each other vs across, but overall an amazing experience!

The chicken Marsala with Joyce Farms chicken is the reason to go there! Best pasta I've ever had. The chef knows his stuff for sure and we are thankful for his skills. We will continue to go back for their overwhelming portions for the price, The Downtown Grille is unmatched.
