My family and I had a beautiful experience. We will be back very soon (again). The staff is very knowledgeable with their menu and very helpful when trying to decide what to eat. Lots of options available.
We had The Dominican Restaurant cater lunch for our team and it was a huge hit. I wasn’t sure what to order, but their recommendations were perfect. The pernil, Yaroa, empanadas, and potato salad were all delicious and enjoyed by everyone. Great option for a business lunch or team celebration — we’ll definitely order again!
Yes, the food was delicious! However, the service was not great. Upon arrival you’ll see a buffet like area. We ordered there and were told we can sit anywhere. The table we chose had a menu. We looked at the menu and my husband decided to order additional food to take back to the hotel. Waitress came to the table with our drinks and my husband ordered. Her body faced him and as soon as he was done talking she left and I was unable to order additional food to take home. The plate he order to go cost $30 and there wasn’t much like shown on the menu. Throughout the time she checked on us she would only face him and ignore me. When we went to pay the overall cost was $80. I paid $100 in cash and either she don’t know how to count or she tipped herself. I would not go again to this restaurant
I ordered 6 Quipes but made a mistake and didn't ask for the price, as I usually buy better quality Quipes in different places, but they were closed today. 6 Quipes cost normally $ 10-12. I was charged $30 for 6 Quipes, which is three times the price of better quality Quipes in Raleigh. Ask for pricing ahead of time before you get ripped off. This place lost me today as a customer.
Great food nice music and awesome service! Felt like we were in the DR. We had the picalonga for 2 lots of food! Highly recommend
