The Dog House

Came in for subs. Was told there's no subs being sold right now. Ordered two hot dogs and two cheesesteaks. The hot dogs didn't have any toppings even though we asked for them. As for the cheesesteaks.. I asked for peppers on one and there's more peppers than there is cheesesteak.. oh and don't get me started on the fries

This place reminds me of the Doghouse that was located on Concord Pike in N. Wilmington. I use to go there regularly as a kid. These hot dogs are awesome and I also love their cheesesteaks and burgers. Whatever the season they sprinkle on their fries, once I start eating them, I can't stop. Old school atmosphere with good and quick service.

We were passing through town and happened upon this place. It is so friendly and the food is delicious. The house relish is something special. Cheesesteaks are finely minced. Loved the cheeseburger. They have seasoning salt and vinegar for the fries! Everyone working here was so pleasant and helpful. We felt right at home.

Definitely not all its hyped up to be. Truly disappointed. Service was super friendly nice People BUT my hot dog was barley luke warm and unless there's a shortage of chili in Delaware I didn't know about hardly any chili on my hot dogs (2) of them. Wasn't happy with the $16.35 i spent for 2 chili cheese dogs and a large soda. I would have loved to rave about this place but can't say I was happy at all... its sad because I was on a driving detail and thought I found something good to eat. Not the case.

The Dog House Restaurant is officially our go-to stop when flying out of Wilmington—and this was our second visit, which says a lot. Everything is fantastic and crazy fast. We had the hot dogs (so good) cheeseburgers, and I swear the fries and onion rings are just waiting for you—hot and ready every time. The milkshakes are fabulous, and every single person working there is genuinely nice and welcoming. Consistently great food, great service, and the perfect pre-flight stop. We’ll absolutely be back again and again. 🌭🍔🍟🥤
