The Dock at Fairfield Bay

We were a table of 4 at 6pm on Sunday night, it's choose your own table so we got seated right away. We had a steak special (cooked to correct temp, well seasoned, but it seemed to be a select cut of meat) that two of us shared, others got a burger & 21" pizza. Recommend asking for crunchy crust. Friendly waitress. They don't have beer on tap but offer can or bottle.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised. The service was great. There was a fun group of people enjoying themselves at the bar. The pizza was good. Absolutely zero complaints. Ranch tasted house made. Music wasn't too loud but loud enough to enjoy. If you're a big stick in the mud, non fun having complainer, this may not be your place. But if you're chill and enjoy good food and good atmosphere, you'll probably enjoy this place.

Ordered two thin crust pizzas. Husband picked up order and brought home one 16” pizza in a pizza box and the 12” pizza was in a styrofoam 8” clamshell container with the pieces stacked on top of each other. It was burnt, too. Will not order from this place again. Ordered double sausage and some slices only had one sausage ball. Also, if you have children, the sauce is a bit spicy…we liked it but others may not.

On vacation from Texas, we came for the food knowing it’s a bar. Highly recommend the BAM BAM Shrimp, it had just the right amount of kick and looked delicious. We also ordered a Cheeseburger with Curly fries, and a Deluxe pizza. They were very generous with the sizing and it tasted even better. As you can see in the picture I got everything I paid for and it didn’t disappoint. Would definitely come back.

After reading some of the other reviews I want to start off by saying that this is NOT Pizza Hut if that’s what you want then go there… this place has AMAZING PIZZA the people are very friendly. Very upbeat atmosphere and had sports on tv’s. There is a bar and loud music as well. If that’s not your thing then get your pizza to go! But DEFINITELY GET THE PIZZA!!!!!!
