The Dish Room

I dined here at the Dish Room on a very busy day. I usually don’t wait when there is a lineup but made an exception because the people in line were raving about how great this restaurant was. The food tasted very good but I ended up having a tummy ache after. I had ordered a Caesar salad to go and I think the dressing was too rich for me. I am not lactose intolerant or anything but it just didn’t agree with me.☹️ My dining companion enjoyed his salad and felt perfectly fine after. The matcha lemonade was very tasty and I loved the green colour of it. I would love to give this establishment another try sometime and I will make healthier choices from the menu and hope for the best.

This is a hidden gem right off of I-70 in Burlington, Colorado. The service was very quick and efficient. The food was remarkable. The pricing wasn’t bad for the quality of the food and what we ordered. We ordered two of their signature dishes and both were fantastic. I got the Cowboy Ciao Chicken which was a breaded chicken over homemade mashed potatoes with a Dijon gravy. We also got the Smoked Out Platter which had brisket, kielbasa, and pork belly and decided it was some of the best bbq we’ve had in a long time. The menu was very unique and it changes seasonally. The creme brûlée was a perfect way to end the meal. This is going to be a regular stop to eat on our travels down I-70.

I really enjoyed my meal here! I had the clam linguine with a pina colada. The food was good, though I felt that either the bread was supposed to be garlic but didn't get much garlic, or it should have been garlic bread, it tasted very bland against the linguine. The pina colada was....well, let's say that I wont be picking that one again. Fyi, it could really use some coconut creme. The creme brulee was really good! The wait staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Atmosphere was mid level noisy, but tolerable. The place felt like a nice place. Planning on a future return visit to try other food options.

Highly recommend! Carlos and Brooke were fantastic and they go to another level to make sure you are taken care of, and are consistently working to improve. I appreciate this as someone who travels a lot and knows good food. PS the BLT is amazing 😍 and I'll be back to try their steaks.

It feels so comfortable when you walk in, energy in the place but a comfortable energy. The staff is so friendly and on top of serving with a smile. The food is absolutely delicious. The variety and quality is exceptional and so creative!! Ate there on the way to Denver and had to stop on the way home again… I call their kind of food memory food… you remember the tastes and want the experience again! I had the pork chop first and going back east, the Butternut squash enchiladas… delicious and very generous servings. Of all the crème brûlée I have tasted all over the country, this was the best! Had it twice!!! Highly recommend plan to stop for a meal at The Dish Room in Burlington, CO.! You will be happy you did!
