The Deli (of East Haven)

The deli always has delicious and fresh breads. We get pizza regularly and it's always nice and fresh.

I used to genuinely like this place and especially enjoyed their pizza in the past. Unfortunately, something has changed over the last few months. Every time I’ve eaten here recently, I’ve gotten very sick to my stomach with pretty bad indigestion afterward. I’m not allergic to anything, so that’s not the issue. After the most recent visit, I spent the entire weekend feeling sick after eating a small onion pizza from here. What I once thought was fresh food now really doesn’t feel that way anymore. I hate leaving negative reviews, especially for a place I used to enjoy, but this has happened enough times now that I can’t ignore it. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend eating here unless you really have no other options.

Just did delivery for dinner & it was quick, easy to order on uber eats & arrived piping hot as if I was there eating it! Food is delicious, onion rings were perfectly crispy & pizza cooked to perfection with the right amount of toppings (garlic, meatball & onion)! Best food in this area! Have NEVER had a thing I don’t like from these guys, added bonus always service with a smile!!

I like this place but lately the sandwiches are put together very messy looks like basically thrown together in a rush and the sad thing is the deli wasn't busy during this visit

It’s been a minute since I’ve been in East Haven but I do remember getting subs @ the Deli, while it has changed over the years the quality of food & the family friendliness you receive from the second you walked through the door and one more thing the prices 👌
