Playing Michael Jackson will always get my attention but I tried this spot for the first time due to being down here on a work trip. I had the super smokey sandwich and it was AMAZING, I’m not a reviewer but I had to go as far as calling and saying thank you and share my appreciation for patience with someone who was overwhelmed with the menu and delivering on the product! I’ll be hitting this again and hopefully you will too!

The Italian was delicious and packed with meat. The bread is excellent also! Def one of the best subs I’ve ever had!

Best sandwiches I've had in Virginia by far, and it's not even close. The ingredients are always super fresh, like the bread is incredibly soft, the vegetables are crisp, and the meat is high quality. I don't even know if they use a house-made mayonnaise or not, but paired with their ingredients, there's something special about it. It's run by a small handful of people, so it's easy to get to know the staff, and they are always super chill and friendly. I don't know how many times I've been here over the past year of having discovered this place, but it is worth every penny! It feels impossible to find places that have corned beef sandwiches where the meat doesn't taste rubbery and tasteless. I haven't found anyone else in the state who does corned beef right like they do. 🙏

Great sub shops seem few and far between in the area, and The Deli was just what I was looking for. Reminds me of the sub places I had in NJ. So many great things about it, starting with the bread. Sturdy to hold up to a lot of filling, but chewy. The meat is sliced thin and fresh. Even the 8" sub is a significant size. I went with The Madd Italian and my wife had the Super Smokey. Biggest regret... The place isn't closer by. Can't wait to be back.

Top tier Italian cold cut sandwich. Fresh bread, thinly sliced meats, perfect proportions. This is probably the best Italian sub I’ve ever had. Awesome little shop. Feels like Jersey inside.
