Oh my God — Delhi Lounge is hands down the closest thing to really good North Indian food in the entire DFW area. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors, and tasted like proper North Indian home-style cooking you usually struggle to find here. The food was so good that every bite made us pause and appreciate it. Rich, well-balanced spices, perfectly cooked dishes, and that unmistakable comfort-food feeling you expect from great Indian cuisine. I recently had lunch at The Delhi Lounge in Irving, and overall it was a refined and memorable dining experience that largely lives up to its upscale positioning. The ambience is beautifully curated—a tasteful retro-inspired design paired with elegant interiors creates a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere. I visited The Delhi Lounge with some of my colleagues on Oct 30th have to say I was BLOWN AWAY by the place. This is a detailed review, but I will sum up with a few key impressions: Beautiful > Suave > Chic > Warm > Stylish > Amazing drinks > Scrumptious food > Abundant choices > An exhilarating experience of Delhi cusine > in short AWESOME I was visiting Dallas on a business trip and had heard much about the Lounge, which is in Irving. Being from Delhi, I had a natural curiosity to check it out. While I am by no means a food connoisseur, I do live in NYC, am married to a wonderful lady whose brother is a celebrity chef, and have eaten at many of the Michelin Star restaurants in NYC. Without any hesitation, I have to say this ranks amongst the best indian restaurants I have ever been to
