Conveniently good location For Camping at the Lake Great Food Great Staff Had the Breakfast Sandwich I Loved Would come back! They Have A ton Of Dam spices All great flavors!

The diner is a little far out of town, but the food is worth the drive. I usually get chicken fried steak, but tried their smash burger and waffle fries, delicious! The only thing I would change is more comfortable chairs.

Happy to find The Dam Diner! They are getting their feet under them and lots of plans for future additions! You will not be disappointed in the portions! The first Friday night special experience of Fish and Chips arrived to the table with THREE huge, in-house battered cod, potatoes and slaw for $15. Marlo (The Diner's chef) greeted us and brought our water, we didn't know he was the chef until we asked who prepared our yummy meal and our server told us. It is exciting to have a restaurant OPEN for dinner in northern New Mexico (Tierra Amarilla/Chama area) and judging from the number of customers on this visit, so are A LOT of people! This place is incredible, the beauty of the surrounding mountains is amazing. The people at this place are incredible, friendly and courteous I enjoyed the camping area ,the General store has many items that are sometimes forgotten. The food at the restaurant is very tasty and the meats are mostly smoked and prepared right there, very fresh. The self service laundry is helpful, coin operated. Showers are clean and roomy. I loved my experience .

This was awesome! If you like chicken fried steak, you are going to love this little out of the way dinner! Homemade gravy and mashed potatoes the best I have ever tasted! The chicken fried burger was amazing! The portion size was huge as well. Well worth the drive and they have full hookup rv sites, near El Vado lake😎👍❤️🇺🇸
