The Daily Grind Specialty Cafe

This place is a hidden gem with the kindest staff, delicous food, and some of the best coffee iv had in my travels! There is plenty of seating, its quiet, and a great place to bring your laptop to work. The bakers section is incredible with delicous choices. The coffee flavor profile is bold, mildy sweet tones, and I could drink it all day. Can't wait to come back.

This new coffee place is great! The drip coffee is good quality, and their baked goods are from Spring Valley bakery. The chairs are very comfortable. Even better, they have sensible mugs (not just those late mugs that spill so easily)! There is room for improvement; but the suggestion is a small one. I wish they had a couch in their seating plan. Also the music could be a bit quieter, for people who are staying to read or work. I’d still come back either way, and highly recommend it as an option for people looking for a coffee shop (especially in the Peru area). Update: a month later and these folks continue to make fantastic improvements. Their coffee and food is consistently excellent.

The Daily Grind has quickly become our favorite local cafe. Such a great place to settle in with a great cup of coffee, a top notch cortado (my personal favorite) or something sweeter. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, and the staff is incredibly friendly - getting to know everyone makes it even more special. The team puts a lot of effort into learning their craft and making great coffee. They truly care about what they do and it shows. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again! And we do! Don't miss it!

What truly elevates the visit is the exceptional service from staff members like Cecilia, whose warm, attentive demeanor and genuine enthusiasm make every interaction memorable. She crafts each order with care, offers thoughtful recommendations, and creates a welcoming vibe that turns a simple coffee run into a highlight of the day—many customers credit her for making their experience truly special. Overall, The Daily Grind excels at creating an inviting, community-focused atmosphere where delicious lattes, satisfying fresh bread breakfast sandwiches, and outstanding hospitality from folks like Cecilia come together for a truly enjoyable meal.

I’m constantly blown away at the quality level of the coffee found in such a small town. When I found out The Daily Grind was opening, I put the date on my calendar! It’s great to have such an awesome spot in this area. Amazing coffee, perfect service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stick around too long.
