The Curry Club

Moving reviews over from Yelp. This was from 2020 but I've been back dozens of times. Bumping them up a star after a bunch of return visits. My big objection (lack of a descriptive menu) from my first review of this place still stands as nothing has changed. That said, their food is just simply good enough to deal with the notion that you won't really know what you're ordering or what your getting but the odds heavily favor it being delicious. Their food is bursting with interesting flavors! I've chatted with several Indian gentlemen who were in the restaurant when I was having a meal. I've come to learn that the Indian community considers this place to be the most authentic Indian street/comfort food restaurant in the St Louis area. Good restaurant with quick service They have a nice combo option where you can choose 2 or 3 curries, which is really convenient I also tried the chicken biryani — it was average, nothing special. The dosa was good though, crispy and tasty

I was craving a hot, fresh dosa as I’m currently unwell, but what I received is a pre-made, (honestly not sure how many hours before), dry, cold, and unfresh dosa. It was like a punishment to eat that. It completely ruined the experience.

Food was fantastic. We really enjoyed Tandoori Chicken with Savory Rice, Rava Masala Dosa, Gee Masala Dosa, Parata with Chicken Curry, Battered Onion and Chili Masala. It’s right texture and spiciness that all could enjoy. It’s place to visit to enjoy a meal. Nature friendly packing is admirable.

My favorite place to eat when I'm in STL. The food is brusting with flavor. I typically come during lunch hours and get the lunch combo. They use biodegradable containers (Lunch containers are not but that's ok), utensils, and bags. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable about the food they serve. I highly recommend!
