first time coming to any of the craft bar restaurants and we had a great time! we were in the mood for some beer and good food. we came on a thursday night which surprisingly was packed. we put our names down and was seated within 15 minutes. we went to the bar to get some drinks while we waited. i got the dead parrot local beer. there’s a lot of local beers they have on tap. as for food, we ordered the mac and cheese for an appetizer and it was good but the portion size was small for how much it cost. if it were triple the size, i’d say it was worth it. for mains i ordered the steak frites with green beans and my wife got fried chicken with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. the green beans were good with a nice crunch which i like. the fries were well seasoned and crispy and the demi
Hands down Kate was awesome!!!!! Fully attentive and went above and beyond on customer service. Big reason I went here was the bourbon selection. I came to try the Michters 20….. I knew it was going to be expensive but comparing that’s a $3k bottle, 6k secondary!!! The price of the pour was worth it!!!! My only gripe was portion and food quality….. The pretzel was great, for dinner I had the stuffed flounder. Everywhere you go, you get an actual stuffed flounder…. This wasn’t even the size of a normal fish fillet….and they couldn’t confirm it was flounder it maybe grouper. Though it had good flavor, but for the price I just feel like I was robbed. The appetizers and such though phenomenal. I’d like to circle back to Kate, who was absolutely amazing, even plugged up my phone when it die
My group dined on Saturday December 27, 2025 for brunch. We were immediately seated as they had just opened for the day at 11:00 am. Its beautifully casually decorated, clean and well lighted with choices of inside seating or enclosed outside seating where dogs are welcomed. The waiter approached within approximately 5 minutes ready to take our order and was very knowledgeable on the menu and craft beers. I ordered a spicy bloody mary. Although tasty it lacked spicy and was served in a petite glass but I believe craft beer is the specialty. They do not serve domestic beers. Burgers were recommended by various friends so the Pimento Buger it is! Comes with fries or for an up charge a choice of various sides. I went with, Brussel sprouts with bacon and pecans. The food arrived shortly and wa
Walking in, Atmosphere was nice, hostess greeted us and was sweet and sat us down and mentioned we should get the Pimento burger, which was delicious. I am very outgoing, extroverted, and friendly. Felt like our server wasn’t very welcoming but shrugged it off. Ordered truffle fries, they were good. Ordered a beer, it didn’t arrive until +20 minutes later once we got our entrees. I asked about it early on about 5-10 minutes after I ordered it and still didn’t get it. Once I got it, I didn’t want it anymore. Felt like the server ignored my requests to the point I asked a different server that was a lot friendlier and she got me my drink almost immediately. Burgers were good, but was tired of being there mainly because of the poor service, so I asked for the check and to go boxes. I was p
I always tell the truth in my reviews. I ate there for lunch today. Ordered grilled shrimp lunch which is a total of $20.00. I got 6 shrimp the size of a quarter, what?? The french fries were logs of soggy grease and the tiny cup of mac and cheese a lump of over cooked cheese. The cornbread was so dry it crumbled in your fingers. I told our server that if this continued they would be out of business in six months. I was not offered any type of compensation. The server did say she passed along my comments to the manager. What a shame, we finally get, what I thought would be a great place for Nicevillians to have a decent place to meet and have dinner, how wrong I was....there was literally no one in the restaurant, was this my sign:(
