The Crab 99

Visited for the first time and wasnt sure what to expect. From the outside it looks a little dark and small, but what a surprise when we went in. Very spacious, well lit restaurant with some nice decorations. The service was fantastic and the food was great. They specialize in seafood broils but other options are available. Really enjoyed the ability to pick and choose what to add to the broil, the type and flavor of seasoning, and how spicy it would be. Very nice drink selection and pleasantly surprised by drink affordability.

I have frequented this establishment often on and off for the last 3 or so years. Usually I have no complaint with the food quality or service as both have been wonderful over the time I have been coming here. I have not had any issues until last night when I received parasite eggs in my meal. I ordered the seafood combo with the clams and snow crab. Usually I get the sauce all over the boil but this time around I opted to get the sauce on the side for less of a mess eating it at home. When I arrived home I had opened the bag and poured the contents into a large bowl and ate around half of my meal. I then noticed on the crab these tiny black dots on the shell of the snow crab. Confused to what they were I looked up with a google image what they might be as I have eaten from this establish

We were seated right away, the waitress was super nice. Out food arrived quickly, piping hot and delicious. We got the catfish and fries and one with onion rings. The atmosphere was really nice, music was playing but at an acceptable level to have a conversation. Will absolutely be visiting again.

Planned a little getaway & our hotel recommended this great seafood restaurant. The service, food & atmosphere was wonderful. Very neatly decorated with a seaside feel to it. So glad we found this gem on our vaca.

Yesterday 1/30 I went there to dine now please keep in mind that this isn’t not my fist time going there. I go there whenever I’m in the mood for seafood. I had the Cajun crab fries which was a little cold but it was ok, I had the chicken which was excellent and I had the seafood boil (Tuesday) which came with crawfish, 1/2lb of crab legs and 1/2lb of shrimp it came with 1 corn I ordered another, and 2 potatoes. I added the boiled eggs and broccoli. I really didn’t touch my seafood because I ate the fries and chicken and had a Dr Pepper so I started getting full. My plan was to take my seafood boil home and binge watch movies but I couldn’t because my sauce was too salty. The sauce that I had was the Juicy special medium spicy.
