The Cozy Grill

I can't believe I only just now discovered this spot :) My friend and I were lucky/smart and checked it out on a Friday morning instead of a weekend. When we arrived there was parking available and no wait, but by the time we left, the tables were pretty full as was the parking lot. The Cozy Grill is quite literally cozy inside... the menu features breakfast classics but also an impressive Benedicts menu. I'm a Benny girl through and through so this was very appealing to me. I tried their most popular option, the Fig, Prosciutto, and Goat Cheese. It sounds like a bizarre combination for Eggs Benny, but let me tell you, it really works! I was very happy with my choice. Let's start with the atmosphere, because it was my favorite part or the dining experience. This place is really nice inside. Looked like small like plants on the walls which I always enjoy. It has a couple small rooms to dine in. We had an electric fireplace in our room. Cozy is a great adjective to describe this place. It is bigger inside than it looks, yet still small and spread out enough to be a little intimate. Not too many tables per room. Now, the bathroom. 8 do not normally take pictures of the restaurant bathrooms, but this one was quite nice. Very clean and smelled fresh (Lysol spray on the toilet). A true local RI breakfast experience! The menu is large, with many different options to satisfy a hungry palate. They even have the small crushed ice for your soda! I ordered a Western Omelet. It was perfect! It arrived on table, very fast. Service was polite and to the point. Depending of time of day, it gets very busy. There might be a wait, so prepare. Parking is tight but available. Lastly, The Cozy Grill even has the old school counter seating, with stools!

The Cozy Grill offers a fantastic breakfast dining experience. True to its name, this cozy diner-themed restaurant serves up delicious breakfast combinations. My favorite is the Lobster Benedict, with perfectly cooked eggs, well-seasoned, needing no extra salt or pepper. It comes with generous portions of home fries and lobster, making side dishes unnecessary. For a satisfying, laid-back breakfast, this spot is tough to beat.

Best diner I have ever been to. Wonderful service. Amazing food. Cannot pass up the corned beef hash when I go. love the cozy grill!!
