The Sizzling Filet Mignon comes with rice. The meat was tender, and the black pepper sauce was rich and flavorful. I mixed the leftover sauce with the rice at the end, and it was great. We also ordered a shrimp dish and a beef dish, and both were satisfying. The service was friendly, and the restaurant felt comfortable. Since it was cold outside, it was a definite plus that the inside was warm.
My 1st time in this place after a Broadway matinee. For appetizers we had the scallion pancakes, filet mignon egg rolls & the dumplings...sooooo freagin good! For dinner we had the beef & broccoli, garlic chicken- (my favorite) & house special fried rice. Every thing was delicious. Our server, Tyrese- very helpful, & so pleasant and sweet. I would definitely come back again...oh did I mention that the lighting & music were perfect, I didn't expect such awesome tunes.
In Europe the authentic Chinese dishes are not authentic. So I decided to find the old greats in NYC and introdcue my husband to the real thing 'cornered' on the western side of the world! We stepped into the Corner Restaurant, NYC. The Corner embraces every walk/style of life here. It is in the busy settings of community and commercial. The meals are freshly prepared, cooked and served hot off the fire. It is affordable and the drink selections offers choices👍🏻. The staff are professional, friendly and honest (and I attest to the honesty: speaking from my personal experience)! Atmosphere: authentic, modern, simple in decor yet, you want to know more. Plus you can dine in or take-away. So dine-in twice😋😊
We had a great dinner at this Chinese restaurant last night! The food was delicious — we ordered the imperial tofu (they kindly made it milder for my kid), the jumbo peppercorn shrimp, and the dry green beans. Everything came out quickly, which we really appreciated with a child in tow. Portions were generous — we had enough leftovers for a light lunch. The prices are reasonable, the decor is lovely, and the service was thoughtful. It’s best to pay in cash otherwise they charge the transaction fee. I’d definitely recommend it and look forward to going back!
Been coming here the three years they’ve been open. The food is consistently on point! There’s new management now as our friendly server told us (shoutout to Ty). The vibe is a lot friendlier and trendy. You won’t be disappointed!
