The Compadres

Fresh, authentic Mexican food in a sports bar atmosphere. The food was nice and hot. Exceptional service. The server gave us great recommendations and offered refills on everything. We had a great lunch date, and afterward we had a really nice chat with the owner, Saul. He's hard-working, friendly, and genuine. We'll definitely be back!

They have a big menu. I had enchiladas poblanas. It was fantastic. The service was spot on excellent! They brought unlimited chips and salsa. A band was setting up to play the evening we went, but we didn't stay for any of the performance. The tap list was a bit limited, but my wife and I both found a satisfying beer. Compadres is our go-to place for Mexican food.

This place is absolutely amazing. The food is incredible. Service is great and very welcoming. I had the El Vaquero and it was delicious. As well as the Queso Fundido and it was phenomenal. Highly, HIGHLY recommend The Compadres in Byron!

Finally made the short drive from Rochester to The Compadres and just wish I would have come sooner! Great food and super friendly staff. Saul is awesome. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend to anyone coming through Byron or Rochester.

The food there was really good. We used to go there often. Last night we were the only ones there ordered got our food and it was barely warm we decided to just eat because we had a issue with the older guy that works there once before. But the waitress came by and asked if food was OK. I asked if she wanted the truth then told her the food was barely warm she offered to put it in the microwave I said no thanks we will eat as is.she went and told that old guy and came back to our table with major attitude. Gave us our bill took our drinks before we were thru. There customer service is only good if you praise them sad. We won't go back there are other Mexican restaurants in the area that are good.
