The Commons

My son is a student and lives near the campus an hour & half from home. Today he was very hungry and looking forward to a good meal but then sent me this pic of his chicken sandwich!!! So disgusting and could give him or others salmonella poisoning. I believe Kennesaw can do better.

why are they closed a saturday before a break. some people live on campus and have no other options to eat. they hire the weirdest people. i have had conversations where i have felt really uncomfortable and i have not enjoyed myself here. the food is not good. they claim the food is top tier but it has gone downhill severely over the past couple years. i have not gone in this place and enjoyed my food the past entire semester and i have had meal swipes so ive gone in plenty of times. i am severely disappointed in the price and quality of this place. I have received raw food from this place as well which has made me and my friends sick. disgusting.

Today is the third time I have eaten in the dining hall and found a bug or hair in my food. I have picture proof of each time this had happened, and have it uploaded with this post. It makes me sick to my stomach when I find bugs and hair in my food, I dont even want eat anymore. I am paying a lot of money for this meal plan for low quality food that clearly isnt being handled properly. I have told employees in the commons about the bugs in my food, and I was told to get another plate. This is ridiculous and i hope something can be done about this. Im paying for this meal plan and dont feel safe eating in the commons after these recurring incidents.

The Commons is a great place to eat if you want hot food. It has an excellent variety of food. The staff is usually friendly, but from time to time, they just throw food together and on your plate. They're also very conservative with how much food they give you. It can be repetitive towards the end of semesters and they just get kind if lazy with what they make. There are events like Open Mic and food tastings occasionally, as well. Be sure to check them out!

So on Sunday, October 15th, 2023 | was visit my friend from high school because he attended ksu, we was at the commons on that day I was really hungry for the burgers so my friend told me about u should've get the burgers from there because they was not great so I got burger from a stand called (hwy 41) in the commons it was lady that working there was being very rude at me when I seen it looked like she doesn't care about her job and it all over a tongs the burger wasn't cooked the patty taste like McDonald's it's have no favor but my friend told me that the burgers they were 5 days frozen in the freezer it was horrible never going there again.
