The Commons Café

Definitely check this place out! The vibes are immaculate, the bagels are incredible, and the coffee is amazing!! We ordered the jalapeño popper bagel and miso ginger scallion bagel. The flavors combos are so good, great ingredients, fluffy warm bagels. We also got a hot chocolate and dirty chai latte. Both were super good. Will definitely come back here again. Perfect pick me up after thrifting or going to the park!

The bagels are exceptionally delicious, not to mention the impressive drink menu and in-house syrups; my personal favorite ,is the sweet potato, is truly exceptional. The ambiance is remarkably relaxing,

Finally!!! A café in Wasilla that feels like a real community coffee house! The vibes are warm/colorful/artistic, food is fresh and locally-sourced, and owner is a delight and clearly has a heart for creating an inclusive, community-focused space- there’s even a food pantry area and lending library in the back. Ive been waiting for a spot like this to open on this side of the Valley and we finally have it. If you want to drink coffee with a “Stepford Wives dystopian cafeteria vibe,”there are other places to go in Wasilla, but I plan on sticking to this awesome local gem!

This is genuinely one of the most welcoming spaces I’ve ever walked into. The owners are so kind, so engaging, and they make incredible coffee and pastries. Anytime I’m at my office, I pop around the corner to grab a cup and say hi. We need more inclusive places like this in the Valley. Commons Cafe is a gem.

The most welcoming place where I could get a delicious matcha! Good matchas are pretty hard to come by in the valley but not here! The moment I stepped in the owner and customers were the friendliest group of people! Will definitely be returning!
