The Colonial Grill (Hoboken)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you haven’t tried Colonial Grill by Pier C yet, you’re missing out 😋🔥 I first heard about them from their Morristown spot and had to check out the Hoboken truck for myself. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I went on a Saturday afternoon around 3:30, and the line was no joke. It took about an hour and fifteen minutes before I got my food, so definitely come with some patience ⏳. The good news is once you make it to the front, they give you a side sampler of fries, which I thought was such a fun little touch 🍟🙌. I got the Cheesesteak del Maduro, and it was insanely good. The mix of sauces with the cheesesteak was packed with flavor. It’s definitely on the cheesier side, so if you want more meat, I’d go for the steak and fries next time. Still, every bite was worth it 🧀🥩.

Shout out to the owner of colonial grill who went above and beyond! I've been wanting to try this food truck for a while and finally got the chance to try it today. The food was absolutely amazing! I got the steak and fries and the steak was cooked perfectly and super tender. The fries were flavorful and tasted fantastic. The owner made sure to hook up the first few people that got there with a sample as well. I definitely recommend this place and will be coming back soon!! P.S. Thank you for the coke!!

Waited over an hour in the freezing cold yesterday, but it was well worth it. My fiancée got the steak fries and I got the plantain burger with fries. Typically I hate waiting in line, just for food, but my fiancée assured me it was worth it. They didn’t disappoint!

The Colonial Grill’s second location is located right in front of Sinatra Park and open on weekends from 2pm-9pm! Their menu can change so always check social media if you want a burger or cheesesteak de maduro, but both locations are always selling their specialty which is steak and fries! All orders come with a free sample of fries, and their steak and fries comes with their special sauce and chimichurri! Amazing food and the owner is so full of energy and so nice. Definitely a huge amount of food, the fries are made fresh, from potato to fries right in front of your very eyes!
