The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Recently completed an extensive remodel updating the look and feel of this location. It blends well with El Paseo now. Still the same great staff! Great place to enjoy your morning coffee!

Absolutely terrible experience. I've been coming to this Coffee Bean location multiple times hoping it would get better, but it only gets worse. The customer service is consistently poor and the employees are rude and unwelcoming, like you're bothering them just by ordering. To top it off, they still charged me to get the correct creamer when clearly on the display picture, it has the creamer on top On top of that, my drink was made completely wrong. I ordered a drink with oat milk flavor and instead got what tasted like straight black coffee poured over ice-no oat flavor, no balance, just bitter and undrinkable. This wasn't a one-time mistake. Between the rude attitude and the inability to make drinks correctly, I won't be coming back. There are plenty of other coffee places that actually

Came in to pick up my “Too good to go bag” and also ordered a large ice blended hazelnut. I actually haven’t had coffee bean for so long and it was so refreshing during this hot summer weather. I forgot to ask for the baristas name and also the young lady who helped me at the cashier. But I came in today around 530pm 7/1. I just wanna say they were awesome professional and sweet. I’ll be sure to pick up some more treats . 😋

Waited over 10 minutes just for a cake pop, which was pretty disappointing. The staff seemed untrained and unorganized, and drink orders were inconsistent. They didn’t even appear to know how to use their own app, which slowed things down even more. The complimentary water cup was just enough for 2 oz of water (What a joke) the pup cup was probably bigger. Overall, the experience felt chaotic and inefficient. Definitely missing Starbucks after this visit. I'd say the drinks have about 80% sugar & 20% ice.

I have been coming to this location for years. But lately the dark roast has been hit or miss. Last weekend a friend and I sat down to dark roast and it was so watered down I took back with the manager saying I had complained in the past as well. True, she brewed another pot of dark roast and just the same very weak coffee. A lady next to us said she had experienced the same and stayed away for a while. The manager offered us coffee Americano not my favorite. She tried but something is wrong with their brew machine possibly. We decided to go elsewhere for a while as well. Very disappointed
