We love it!! We came twice withn 4 days, because their food are so yummy and good. We ordered combo (2 cod fish + 4 shrimps and chips) , clam chowder soup, and calamari. Highly recommend Codmother’s if you’re in the Fisherman’s Wharf area. Don't waste your money in any other fancy restaurants, this is worth it!

Best fish and chips of the west coast? At least in the Bay Area! Outdoor seating with tables. Authentic fried fish and fries. Just delicious. $16.99 for a fish and chips classic.

Ordered the combo platter upgraded with fully loaded fries and an order of calamari. The shrimp that came with the combo were plump and juicy. The fish were fried to perfection and had a crunchy exterior and moist interior. The calamari was a decent size and had a good mix of the body and ends. Overall would highly recommend Codmother’s if you’re in the Fisherman’s Wharf area and are looking for a nice platter of fish and chips

A hidden gem tucked within the bustle of this tourist-heavy stretch. The cozy little booth radiated charm, offering a welcome pause from the crowds. The fried fish was beautifully crisp yet tender and moist within—a small triumph of texture. The sauce and slaw felt less memorable, but the overall experience still made this spot worth seeking out.

Great find after recommendation from San Francisco resident. Nothing fancy to look at, but the fish & chips were great. Cooked to order, piping hot, crispy batter, golden brown chips. Great customer service, friendly staff. Cannot fault our meal.
