I have been super hesitant to write this as I have been to this place on multiple occasions; I want to love it, but I feel like I am burnt out. While I understand the main focus of Castle is a board game bar, they do host other events for trading card games. At a recent Magic the Gathering event, the space was overbooked and too crowded, and the room where the event took place was poorly heated. I thought to shrug it off, though the overall experience was challenging with the space provided. It was also disappointing as the cost for the event was more expensive than other surrounding locations; again, I understand they are a business and need to make profits, though this was another disappointment. One part that Castle cannot control was the other players that join; several other players

The Castle is hands down one of my favorite spots. The atmosphere and food are amazing!! They have a delicious menu (yes edible menus, j/k). But really food is great and the staff are the best! As someone who plays MTG it’s perfect place to hang out with friends and enjoy a great meal at the same time. Good vibes all around.

Perfectly chill, nerdy and accommodating. Progressive, LGBTQ friendly, dog friendly. Great variety of drinks, beer and cocktails. Insane amount of board games to play in house or to rent for home use. Lovely medieval decor And wall art. Wheelchair access. Patio seating available. Separate bar downstairs. And a secret hidden door to find!

This place is awesome! My girlfriend and I stopped in tonight, and both the food and drinks were A+ delicious. There is a full room stocked with a huge selection of board games you can play while you eat/drink, plus a separate bar area if you're just looking to grab some drinks and food (or do friday karaoke!). There is definitely something for everyone here including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options for food, and great seasonal drink choices. Staff was super friendly and willing to help pick a game, so no sweat if you're there to play game! We'll be back! Great place to have in the neighborhood

Firt time here, service was terrible! Our waitress forgot about us and left us waiting for 23 minutes for Splenda and cream. One of our party never got their drinks. Food took 40 minutes to BEGIN to come out, two of us got our food wrong and we ordered very simple things ( burgers, salad, mac and cheese) . The burger was tough and tasteless. The waitress acted like I was bothering her when I asked what the sides were ( not printed on the menu) the environment is cool, but $6 a person to play a board game is a bit much. Would likely not return or recommend.
