The Carriage Inn Bed and Breakfast

Came down from Canada and glad we stayed in this absolutely wonderful historic B+B. Dreams do come true! Clean, quiet, comfy, well put together rooms. Home is full of interesting history, the breakfast was top notch, and tasty. Very friendly and inviting host. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I hope our paths cross again some day.

This is our 7th visit and we can't recommend it enough to our friends! Yvonne and Johnathan are so inviting and accommodating to our every needs. The breakfasts are extraordinary and the afternoon freshly baked cookies or treats (GF too!) are not to be passed up! This is our first time staying in The Carriage House Suite (detached from the main house) and it was just as beautiful as the Robin's Nest. The Carriage House is well suited for a family with a refrigerator, coffee and teas, upstairs bedroom (twin beds) and sitting area. A fireplace added not only ambiance but heat! All the rooms in the main house and Carriage House look designer decorated, spotlessly clean, spacious and quiet. We had a wonderful stay at this lovely bed and breakfast. The home is quaint, elegant, and full of history, dating back to the Civil War era in the 1800s. Every corner of the house felt charming and thoughtfully preserved. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our experience even more special. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily return.

The Carriage Inn Bed and Breakfast was a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was brought to our door each morning and cookies left for us in the afternoon, they made us feel so special. It was a great place to stay for us to explore Charles Town, and Harper's Ferry. We did not go to the Hollywood Casino but the Inn is less than a mile away from there.

This is our third stay at Yvonne and Jonathan's Carriage Inn. They maintain a comfortable cottage styled and decorated to evoke a late nineteenth century atmosphere. The best part of the stay is the breakfast in a dining room organized to seat everyone close enough to meet and chat. Yvonne provides a warm and informative greeting and orientation to the Inn every time, introduces every breakfast dish with precision and offers suggestions for any topic or schedule. Downtown Charles Town is lies within a third of a mile from the Inn straight down the Washington Street sidewalks. Try Ortega's Taco Shop for lunch or dinner.
