The Captains Quarters

The house is old and charm, made of wood, very well maintained and very beautiful. Outside there is a lovely garden with a table and chairs for an outdoor snack. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The pancakes for breakfast are an added bonus. Delicious! Having the kitchen available was great for us because it was a way to eat better and cheaper. We also loved the city, peaceful and quiet. It was an experience that left us wanting to stay longer!

My daughter and I checked in Friday. The check in process was a bit difficult unfortunately and pretty chaotic. It took about 30 minutes total. But once checked in everything was great. The room was warm, bright and inviting. The beds were phenomenal. Very soft and comfortable. The biggest CON was I was right over the kitchen in the Hayfork and the walls are paper thin so every morning I was awaken much earlier then I was hoping by the other customers eating breakfast and talking. However with a different room I definitely would come back!

I took my family of 8 for a fun filled trip Labor Day weekend and Paul Bunyan festivities I am so glad we chose to stay here at the beautiful bud and breakfast.the rooms were clean and comfortable the host were amazing and it was perfect to be able to walk the the town to explore they have Kokos candy shop located in the Union lumber building and the kids loved their freeze dried candy!! we definitely will be back! Great place to stay when you’re in Fort Bragg the family here is extremely friendly, breakfast was delicious and the rooms are cozy and warm. I highly recommend!

Very quiet and comfortable. I had an amazing stay. My new go-to anytime I'm in the area. Inn keeper Becky was very nice, and the property looks amazing.
