Last night was my very first time visiting The Capital Grille and it was nothing short of extraordinary! We didn’t have a reservation, so the wait for a table was about an hour—but from the way the parking lot was packed, I had a feeling it would be worth it… and it absolutely was. While we waited, we headed to the bar where I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Michelle. She was fantastic from start to finish. Despite how busy it was, she never seemed flustered. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at The Capital Grille in Parsippany, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so special — our table was beautifully decorated, they gave me a rose, and surprised us with complimentary champagne and dessert. Every detail felt thoughtful and personal. Dinner was fantastic — everything from the appetizers to the entrees was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The service was attentive without ever feeling rushed. It was such a memorable evening, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend for any occasion!

We celebrated my birthday on Saturday night, and Capital Grille proved to be the perfect choice for such a special occasion. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt thoughtful and celebratory—complete with warm birthday wishes, a personalized card, and a beautifully decorated table. Our server, Jairo, was absolutely outstanding, as was every staff member we encountered. For starters, we enjoyed the garlic shrimp and the crab & lobster cake—both were phenomenal. For entrées, we had the filet medallions with lobster tail and the New York strip. Each was cooked to perfection, though the lobster tail was the standout favorite of the night. I had the pleasure of celebrating my anniversary here. The service was amazing from the time we walked in. We had a reservation for 7:45 and it was a little busy so there was a little wait. When we got to the table I was greeted with a nice note and a rose for my anniversary. This was very thoughtful and set the atmosphere. Our server Luisa is a beautiful and kind young lady. My husband and I were very grateful for her. Now onto the food, the appetizers we had were the calamari and the lobster crab cakes, both were amazing. For entrees, I had the NY strip and my husband had the Porterhouse. Both steaks were cooked to perfection and had the perfect salt crust.
