Edit: 1/15/26 I've ordered 3 cakes from them & they are nothing short of amazing. The Italian buttercream & cake flavors are amazing. Definitely worth the up-charge. I recommend lemon flavor with raspberry filling. They put tremendous effort into what they make. Thank you again.

My daughter had a Harry Potter party and the cake shoppe absolutely did it justice. Chocolate with Italian buttercream icing. SO GOOOOOD!!! and possibly the cutest cake ever! This is the 2nd birthday cake I've ordered here and won't be the last!

The Cake Shoppe has a wonderful variety of cakes and cupcakes - they baked the cupcakes and small cake for my wedding reception, and they were BEAUTIFUL and delicious. We got a lot of compliments on them! The people here are so friendly & professional. A true hidden gem of Springfield!

Order was in June of 2024* The icing was partially the wrong color but I was too scared to tell them 😅 it tasted great tho!! And they were very kind working with me on the design. The blue a pale blue but supposed to be more of a teal, monster high colors were my reference

The Cake Shoppe made a cake for my wife’s birthday. The cake was absolutely delicious! The taste of almond, the moistness of the cake; this cake was absolutely amazing! Even better was the service. I made a phone call 3 weeks before the party. I thought I would have to go in and take time to do all this, but they were able to take my order over the phone, and this was a cake for up to 40 people in my party. Three days before the pickup, I called again and asked if they could do a “Hello Kitty” themed cake which they obliged. I was blown away how awesome the cake looked! The only thing my wife asked from me was that there would be a buttercream frosting. And let me tell you, that frosting was incredible. This was the best cake that I’ve tasted in years. I also found out they do cupcakes
