The Cake House

I am honestly not a cake person at all, or at least I thought I wasn’t until I had cake from The Cake House. Their cake completely changed my mind. It was incredibly moist and perfectly balanced in sweetness. You can tell everything is made with care and high quality ingredients. It didn’t taste heavy or overly sugary like most cakes do. It was light, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I’ve also tried their macaroons and lemon cheesecake, and they are hands down the best I’ve ever had. Every single thing I’ve tasted has been amazing. Highly recommend!

The Cake House is a quaint little bakery in West Georgia that we happened across in our travels. It is not your average U.S. southern bakery, however, it offers authentic European style pastries that are as lovely as they are delicious. This combined with the cozy atmosphere put me in the mind of my childhood days in La Petite Venise. Elegant simplicity meets old school charm here. Che Buono! 👏🏼👏🏼❤️

The best lemon cheesecake I have ever had. I do forget what the pear was called. But I’ll never forget how amazing it was. The coffee bean mouse was….. words can not express how amazing. Looking forward to coming back.

Ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday party. The cake was very pretty, but that is all of the praise I can give for the cake. The frosting was so stiff and dry that it crumbled off of the cake as it was cut. The cake itself was incredibly dry, and the filling neither helped to add moisture or flavor. The party was on Sunday, and the cake was picked up on Saturday. We were told to keep the cake in the fridge, and take it out 3 hours prior to serving. All instructions were followed and hardly any cake was eaten. It tasted horrible.

Beautiful yummy cake! I just wish they would have put it in a box, they could have put each number in a separate box, I was so worried the whole time that i was driving because it was basically just on a thin piece of cardboard on the floor of my car, living dangerously 😂. Price was about 5 dollars per serving. I plan to get cakes from her again, it was not very sweet which I love, because that's what I asked for a cake that wasn't super sweet, even though I asked for apple caramel filling. It was very good! Just next time (which I understand, I placed my order pretty late,), if you don't have a box big enough in time, I wish they would have called me or texted me and told me, I could have brought a box from home.
