The Cafe Moonlight

Wow. We went here for dinner last night and I have to be honest, this was the best meal I have had out in YEARS! From the pork belly sliders (probably my new addiction to be honest) to the stuffed pork and stuffed salmon to the coffee crème brûlée … Fantastic. You guys will be seeing us again. Every single part of the experience was perfect. To anyone reading this, if you’re on the fence, jump over and just go eat here. I can pretty much guarantee, it will be the best meal and service you will get in the area Thanks again guys and I wish you nothing but the very best success in all you do!

We were nervous when we first walked in. The host appeared to be one of the chef’s so we were thinking service would be slow. We were dead wrong. We sat down and a server met us and was wonderful. Very chill vibes in the restaurant. The food was phenomenal. Caesar salad to start and had the stuffed grilled salmon. Definitely recommend trying it.

10 oz Ribeye was cook to perfection and seasoned well. It would of been a 5 star but our waiter never came back to refill drinks and the potatoes and green beans were just luke warm. My wife had the salmon and she said it was the best she has had. She said her mashed potatoes were luke warm. We will be back.

We stopped for lunch on Tuesday. I had the Cafe Salad. It had candied pecans, raisins, chicken etc. It was very good. My wife had the Cafe Chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich was great and the fries were perfect. They were hot and crispy. The server was very nice too.

My husband and I have been to Cafe Moonlight several times. I would consider myself a picky eater and this place has never disappointed us. The specials are always good and the service is good as well. We identify the Cafe Moonlight to our friends as the best kept secret in Southern Indiana.
