Customer Reviews
I got married at the Cactus this weekend and received the most compliments on the architecture and design of the venue! Decorating was so easy here, we let the venue take center stage here! From the beautiful staircase to the stunning ballroom, this was the perfect location. Emely was amazing and took care of the floor plan, and we had the best crew helping set up, and take down after the wedding. Rebecca made sure we had everything we needed at the end of the night and everyone was so welcoming and helpful. This was truly the perfect night!
Got married at the Cactus 6/2025 and couldn’t be happier about it. The effortless elegance was striking. The amenities. The attention from the manager Emely and the gentlemen on staff to help were incredible. Our bartenders were wonderful (staffed by the hotel.. shoutout to Olga!). The best memories made. Thank you Cactus Hotel!
A beautiful building with mostly original architecture, there are several establishments here, and there is always some kind of even being hosted here as well. It is one of the oldest and the tallest buildings in San Angelo.
DONT BRING CHILDREN TO WEDDINGS HELD HERE!! Black lady attendant harrassed my kids all night but left all the other kids alone! They didnt do anything but help, which she mentioned!
My daughter and I were very hungry at 11 am, we were one of the first customers in before the lunch rush. I ordered the open face beef sandwich and she ordered a deli sandwich. We didn’t get our food till 47 minutes later. My food was very cold but I ate it anyway because the room filled up very fast and I saw the one waitress was busy. There was another table top of five and they got here around 11:30 and they were served their food as soon as we got ours. The Mac and cheese was the only thing worth eating. I will not be returning to this restaurant! It just wasn’t worth it to me. Haley was calm and did a nice job but this place is slow, cold and just not a comfortable place to eat.
