The Cabin

First time here, definitely not the last. We were seated by the owner who asked right away if we'd dined there before. He checked to see if anyone had food allergies and then started describing the menu. He did this to every table that came under and followed up as did our waitress. The prices are very reasonable and the quality and quantity of food was excellent. Steak tips were cooked to my liking which was rare and the scallops were not over cooked. Plus the chowder was a rich and creamy white base that the spoon stood straight up in the cup and was full of claws and flavor. Great job.

This was our first time visiting The Cabin Restaurant, and we were very impressed. I was especially happy with their gluten-free menu—onion rings, fried calamari, and even the fish and chips were all gluten free and absolutely delicious. And I have to say that makes me very happy, because there isn't a whole lot of resturants that serves GF. AlsoLefty Beth had the chicken parm, and she said it was very delicious. We will definitely be going back! The service was spot on, love the atmosphere inside very cozy and family oriented. Even the patrons were friendly.

GLUTEN FREE DREAM!!!!!! This is a small towny restaurant - it’s actually very small ha, but in a cute cabin-like way. The owner, John, came to introduce himself and tell us about the menu. He has been gluten-free for the last 25+ years and understands the importance of gluten-free items on the menu. He said that all, but four items on the menu are either naturally gluten-free or could be made gluten-free. They have a gluten-free only section in the kitchen that is separated from the rest and they do their absolute best effort at avoiding cross contamination. Raquel our waitress was super sweet and attentive as well. Their mud pie dessert has GF Oreo cookies! DELICIOUS. We ordered fried oysters, calamari, lobster penne vodka, and surf and turf with friend clam strips. OMG DELICIOUS. I have

The potatoe skins and Buffalo Chicken was excellent, and then I had the chicken broccoli Alfredo which was also very good. The drinks 🍸 and the service was also great. I would highly recommend this place.

We went for the first time last night. We were greated by the owner.he genuinely was interested in how we heard about the place. Told us about himself and the menu. It is rare I get to order anything on the menu (I'm celiac) and not have any issues. I have not had food that good in 20 years! There was so much i will have left overs for days. Our server, Ana was wonderful. Great experience. It sure won't be out last time! Worth the 45 minute drive!
