The Cabana Inn

We had a fantastic stay at Cabana Inn! The property’s lush landscaping is well tended and it’s a true escape from the busy sidewalks, restaurants and bars. Tranquility only half a block away from Duval Street! The Continental breakfast was perfect and the nightly happy hour divine for a snack and a glass of wine. The rooms were spacious and clean - gave 4 stars as the rooms could use maintenance (paint, caulk, cracked floor tiles, etc). These issues would not stop us from staying at this 3-Star hotel again. Nothing quite compared to the relaxed, yet attentive service by the staff at the hotel - particularly Wild and Mozar! We look forward to our next visit!!

Compared to many different hotels and family owned INS and such. This would rank towards the bottom for me. The entire room floor is slanted and you can feel it in every step taken. The wood on the walls were rotted and metal hangers were rusted badly. The restroom had a moldy smell to it. The sink isn't connected and could fall over if someone leaned in it by accident. Shower doesn't get hot and had a very bad water pressure. The toilet is very cramped. My leg doesn't fit in front of me and I would have to take the toilet paper roll off of the wall and tuck my leg emergency to be sitting straight forward. A hidden 100 dollar fee upon arrival with parking fees if you have a vehicle even though the space is extremely cramped.

We were on the 3rd floor of the inn where the roof is slanted in both rooms. We hit our heads on the ceiling just trying to get out of bed. |The bathrooms are very old and showers are very small. |It was clean and has nice amenities but wouldn’t go back. |And we paid $400/night +parking and a “resort fee”. |Way overpriced !

We had a relaxing and pleasant 4 night stay at the Cabana Inn. We booked a Junior Suite and were given a room on the 2nd floor. The room was large and comfortable with lots of natural light. The bathroom was nice with a large walk in shower. Furnishings were basic with vintage furniture that could use a little refinishing. The mattress was very comfy but the bed frame squeaked. We enjoyed drinking coffee on our balcony under the shade of a palm tree.|The location was perfect, walkable to everything. No car needed. The inn has a tropical laid back vibe. Loved the landscaping. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Positive: Location, staff and cleanliness. Very nice courtyard with the cabanas, pool and hot tub. Negative: Walls are thin and you can hear your Neighbors. So close to the action, that it?s loud past 12am.
