The Butcher’s Club is truly an elite dining experience. Every fine detail is thoughtful and intentional—from the ambiance to the service to the execution of each dish. You can immediately tell this is a place that takes pride in doing everything the right way. The drinks were excellent, the Parker House rolls were unreal (perfect texture with rich, flavorful butter), and the jalapeño fritters were outstanding. The katsu sandwich was an absolute all-star, and the porterhouse was one of the best we’ve ever had—perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. Sides like the mac and cheese and potatoes were just as impressive, and the chocolate profiterole was an amazing way to end the meal. Service was fantastic across the board—our waiter Paul was phenomenal and made the night even better with g
Without a doubt, the best burger I have ever had….twice haha. We had a great privilege to take a staycation here at the PGA resort and on the first night had booked in at the butchers club. We had ordered a selection of food (steak, starters, whole roasted onion, salad, mash, etc) all of which was delicious however, the absolutely outstanding item was the burger with bacon jam. When I tell you this burger was life-changing. We came back from an event the next evening after having eaten dinner and still came back to have the burger again because it was so good. My fear was that it lived a perfect memory in my mind however, on the second time, it would not be as good however, I was pleasantly surprised. Despite all of what I ate before, it was still absolute perfection. The most perfect midn
Dining at The Butcher’s Table at PGA National was exceptional, but sitting at the bar with Matt turned it into something truly special. From the moment we sat down, it was clear that Matt approaches hospitality as a craft, not a job. He was attentive without hovering, confident without ego, and incredibly knowledgeable. His recommendations — both cocktails and menu selections — were absolutely spot on and elevated the entire meal. Every suggestion felt intentional and perfectly matched to the cuisine. What truly sets Matt apart is his passion. He spoke about inventing his own cocktails, clarifying bourbons, and constantly refining his techniques so that his bar program could stand at the same level of excellence as the kitchen. Watching him work was genuinely part of the experience. Each
During our stay at PGA National we grabbed diner here. Depending on the day you will need a reservation. We had a very pleasant experience and the wait staff was amazing. They have a different yet very good Caesar salad. Our main entre was very good and the steak cooked exactly the way we like it. The portions are enough for 2 people to share. We also got the cookie tray desert to take back to our room and it was delicious! The prices are what I expected for a restaurant owned by a successful Chief and in a resort location like PGA.
I was excited to try this place out and saw it was on the Michelin Guide. While in town for work, I made a reservation to bring clients here. I definitely recommend doing reservations as the place was packed and time slots were getting booked. I went on a weekday night. The biggest thing we noticed was the noise level, I’m not talking about music. I don’t think there was any music, but other customers. It was so loud that we couldn’t hear each other, we were screaming or could only talk to the person sitting next to us. I was a little embarrassed, not a great look for a business dinner. Service was terrible the beginning of the night. I assume it was probably because it was so busy, he looked stressed. As people were leaving, our service got better. Food was delicious, hands down 10/10
