The Butcher of Brunswick

Very friendly staff that greets you as soon as you come into their store,you feel like family. Great selection of meats and freshly made Italian dinners. We're new to the area,and are so glad we found this place. We would highly recommend checking this place out. They also make great sandwiches.

Cool NY deli on the side of 17, definitely worth a stop if you're road tripping to/from Myrtle. Sandwiches are good and they have a small shop. My cold, classic Italian on the NY bread was really good, jam packed with meats and fixins, the hot chicken parm was not bad, but I expected a bit more flavor and my chicken was a little dried out, so 4 stars for the deli. Sandwiches are pretty good size and could easily be split between two adults. Overall the place was more fun than a barrel of pickles, which they also have.

Worse sandwich I ever had. Got an eggplant parm. The bread completely fell apart and it’s terribly dry. The macaroni salad had an awful aftertaste. Will never go back.

My wife and I stopped in there for the first time the other day and found that they make a great sandwich. there bread is awesome and they have a great selection of meat and Italian specialties. will definitely be back.

Quality meat, and a nice little store. Problem is, when you ask for “shaved ribeye”, the butcher gives you “sliced ribeye” that’s a quarter-inch thick… AND they charge you extra for it. I don’t mind being charged extra when I get what I ask for. But tonight is a little different. My wife asked out loud for 1/16” inch shaved ribeye. We’ve gotten it here before several times. Not sure if the butcher was off and the cleaning crew cut the steak for us, but they really messed it up. Someone needs to buy them a tape measure or some other frame of reference for size. A quarter inch thick is what we got, which is 4X thicker than what we asked for. They did it in the back and brought it out wrapped so my wife wouldn’t notice. Very, very sneaky.
