The Burger Barn - Hebbronville

Technically the burgers are 5 stars all day but overall is not a 5 more like 4.7. Fried pickles were salty but crunchy, not bad. Fries were good but they come with no salt. My Pepsi drink had a weird taste to it. Now the burgers: Number 6 and number 11. Decent size and great flavor on both, excellent burger. Definitely get the burger. I couldn't complain about the wait time as other customers have stated. For me it was around a 10 minute wait.

This place missed out on a HUGE order! I had told other truckers in my company that this place had amazing food and had said that next time we were in the area that I would stop and order for all of us. Since there isn't any room for semi trucks, the rest of the truckers waited a few miles down the road. I got there before they opened so I could put our order in. Two employees pulled up behind me and went inside. When 10:30am rolled around, I went to the front door, but the door was locked. I tried calling. NO answer! I waited until 10:40am, door is still locked. I tried calling again. NO answer! I called the other guys to let them know that we won't be able to get the food I bragged about. Food was good but definitely not worth the 45 min wait! Place was not packed by any means. As many other people mentioned customer service was subpar, no greeting simply an order taker. Restroom needs some serious attention. This place has so much potential as I can imagine this place being somewhere you’d stop and have a good meal and few drinks.

I've passed by the restaurant many times and finally decided to take a drive just to go and eat here. It's a small-town eatery where I would love to go back. They offer a drive-thru or you can choose to sit inside or even outside. The lady taking our order wasn't so friendly. She was polite but not very welcoming. Other than that it is worth the drive. We ate the original burger. Want to go back and try the rest of the menu.

As a burger, afficionado....i know burgers, and this place has top-notch burgers! Wow! I got the bacon chedder burger. You can taste the fresh beef, and the bacon was so crispy! The fries were good and served hot. The iced tea was not that great. The container said Luzianne, but I'm not so sure. There were no napkins only a brown paper towel roll. The bathroom was clean but had no paper towels either, only an old air dryer. The atmosphere was comfortable overall though. It had a small town, family run business, feel. Parking is a little scarce as it is on a weird triangle lot. Overall, it was a great lunch, and I will definitely hit it up again next time I'm in Hebbronville!
