The Buckhorn Inn & Tavern

We can't recommend this little gem of a place enough! Take a detour, have a meal & better still stay a night or two; and let those walls talk to you.. Built in 1811 - yes, it truly was - take time to soak in the history, it's more exciting than a museum. The staff are simply marvelous, thank you for 2 marvelous home-style southern meals. And look in on the bar for a flight of delightful Margaritas.

Went there for Dinner 12/28 . My wife and I both had Salmon . The salmon was over cooked which made it very dry , so was mine . Her mashed potatoes were cold as well as the carrots. I had carrots they were cold , my creamed corn was hot but the portion size was very small. Wait time for the food was quite long, the staff was pleasant.|I will not be back nor would I recommend, eating there.

Another amazing brunch at the Buckhorn! Food is just great! Cocktails & Mimosas are wonderful! Staff & owners are welcoming (You made it back!!) and fun to chat with. Will def return......Hopefully 30 days....60 days...90 days!

Fantastic restaurant and inn located on the way to the Homestead resort. The food is made with love and everything is delicious. If you see the Brisket Benedict special on the menu, you won't be disappointed!

Breakfast is spectacular. Blueberry pancakes, country fried steak, sage sausage. Great drinks and service (TY Joanne). Gourmet food at a fair price.
