The Buck School Inn

The Buck School Inn was a pleasant respite close to the Downingtown borough. We enjoy staying in places that are unique rather than a typical hotel and this fit the bill. The king size bed was extremely comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, the surroundings were peaceful and quiet. There was a cute courtyard to sit outside. I was disappointed that there was not a typical B&B type breakfast in a shared space to meet other guests. But the price was good and the place comfortable. A beautiful old stone house in the countryside.

We stayed here on New Year's Eve and had a wonderful experience. Our host, Mark, was extremely courteous, kind, and helpful. The space was better than expected, as our room was squeaky clean and the bed was super comfy! There is a large common area to hang out, read, or play games (if you are so inclined). The kitchen was an added bonus...coffee, muffins, and fresh fruit were on the house! Overall an excellent value and we would like to stay again soon, perhaps in the Spring!

Very quiet small inn bed and breakfast. Just what we wanted. Mark was extremely welcoming, room was comfortable and very quaint. Truly enjoyed the experience.

Clean, spacious and quiet accommodations. The schoolhouse is a unique building, lovingly restored. We enjoyed sitting on the patio area in the evening. Loved the large bathroom. We really appreciated Mark and will go back next time we're in Philly.

Been coming here over the last several years, and the schoolhouse is wonderful as always! Thoughtfully adapted and restored, Mark has really honed the space and the overall experience. Beautiful grounds, and perfect location for visiting our family. Would love to have the kitchen back, but understand if that doesn't work for his current situation! Thanks, Mark
