The Branch Restaurant & Bar

We had a great Thanksgiving dinner here. They had an awesome buffet with all the fixings. The restaurant is very nice with a large bar and plenty of seating. The drinks a tasty and the servers are very accommodating. I recommend The Branch when you're in West Yellowstone.

I had the build your own omelette. That was great. But the potatoes were just plain but not greasy,which I like. The potatoes need something with them like onions or bell peppers. Our server Rick was great! The coffee was really good. There is some train car to see near the entrance (time period piece).

We arrived here hungry after a long day. There was no wait and the dinning atmosphere was warm. We were starving, but the food, in our opinion, was not good. The fish and chips were fishy, the salmon (despite asking for it to be cooked medium) was dried out and the buffalo stroganoff was just not that great. We were disappointed as we were hoping this would be our go-to place to eat since we were staying at the Holiday Inn. Maybe it was an off night!

We paid for a private dining experience in the rail car and were thrilled with the experience. The chef, Kevin Proper had as much fun creating the courses as we had enjoying them! Having been a summer resident since 1986 I can honestly say this was the best dining experience I have ever had in West Yellowstone. The restaurant had good food, but the atmosphere is mixed: part bar, part sports bar, part dining. The servers are good, but somewhat inattentive.

My wife and I are here vacationing, I know, what a surprise!!! We're staying at the amazing Holiday Inn in West Yellowstone and this restaurant is attached to it. We came in for breakfast before exploring. Our waitress Annie was outstanding!!! Friendly and when asked she gave us some good ideas for our day today in Yellowstone. The food is fantastic! I had ham, eggs and breakfast potatoes with wheat bread. My wife a Huckleberry Monte Carlo. Delicious!!The amount of food we have been served was crazy good. Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone that comes through here.
