The Bog Tavern

This restaurant was pleasant surprise, true hidden gem. Really nice view of the golf course, great food and service. Girl that was serving us ( I suck at remembering names) said that the menu changed recently and I’m excited to try it out more next time. Great thing is that it’s open for public year round and girl said that they have beautiful ballroom for events. This place is great addition to my favorite places to dine on Cape.

This is our new favorite restaurant. The food, service, drinks, and ambiance is excellent. The drinks were served with dirty ice, making them even better. Great bartender, servers were wonderful. They moved us with a smile when we decided we wanted to sit outside where the view was terrific. The serving sizes were generous and not real expensive. Well worth the price. Loved the crispy duck!

Went there for a small business conference (30 people) on a windy, raw day. The staff was fantastic and very attentive. The breakfast and lunch was delicious and the facilities was nice and clean. I would definitely recommend this location!

Our lunch experience perfectly highlights why we rarely eat out these days, unfortunately. Draught beer was flat, which happens, I get it. Ordered a bottle instead. I ordered the salmon burger and it seemed to be mostly bread crumbs and very little salmon. Someone in the kitchen made the executive decision to put the tomato you see pictured on my burger. Hard and inedible with some of the hard stem still present. Like, really? I get it, it’s impossible to get good help these days, but this level of effort for a restaurant at a golf course is just kind of depressing to be honest. Please do better.

We were a party of 9. We were remembering our mom’s birthday and decided on this place to have lunch. Food was awful. Fish was so fishy. Burgers cooked so well we could barely bite into them. Fries not fresh. Tasted like they were sitting in kitchen and warmed up. Items like cheese and truffle fries forgotten. Instead of bringing fries on another plate. Waiter brought them to kitchen and it looked as though cheese was just placed on them. During our meal plates were not cleared. Waiter was not available to check in with us and we waited awhile for check. Place was only busy in golf course. Not in restaurant. No excuse. But disappointed with this experience.
