The Bluebird Inn

Best bnb in the north state. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Very personal touch. The room was very clean. The inn has been beautifully restored and modernized but has kept the original charm and amenities. Breakfast was delicious and made from all locally sourced ingredients. Walking distance to “downtown” Etna, including Denny Bar and Etna brewing. Andria was a perfect host.

We stayed 2 nights in December, and it was quiet and cozy. I think there was only one other couple who was going to the same event we were. We were in the Lupine room. We were a little clueless on the keypad to get in, but Andrea showed us how to use it. They accommodated us when it turned out my husband made a mistake on our booking and were able to have us stay in our room another night (whew). The bakery for breakfast is delicious. Loved the almond croissants. The bakery sandwiches are delicious and huge. Stored half a sandwich in the inn's fridge and had it for lunch on the drive home. We ate at the Denny Bar both nights and loved it.

We always adore our time at the Bluebird Inn. The house is charming, the rooms are comfortable, and the service is exceptional. Etna is such a fun place to visit, and the Bluebird Inn is truly the place to stay.

The Bluebird Inn is outstanding. We have stayed twice now, and it keeps getting better. The house and rooms are so cozy and comfortable. I highly recommend a stay at the Bluebird Inn!

Oh, boy, are you in for a treat! First off, there’s the teeny town of Etna in Northern California, but actually in the imaginary state of Jefferson. Then, there’s the unlikely Denny Bar, a distillery and restaurant that would easily hold its own in LA. Finally, staying at the perfectly restored 1877 house is the capper. Quite grand, so unexpected!
