The Blacksmith

I recently dined at Blacksmith in Pembroke and had the chicken marsala with risotto and mushrooms. The chicken was very tender and cooked perfectly, and the marsala sauce paired nicely with the risotto. While the dish was flavorful, I would have loved a bit more mushrooms to really round it out. The ambiance was okay, though there’s room for improvement to make the space feel warmer and more inviting. Our waiter was polite, attentive, and quick, which definitely added to the overall experience. Overall, a good meal with solid service, and I’d be open to returning to try other items on the menu.

This place is a mist go. Beautiful building and the food was very good and affordable. We met Tom ♥️ seems like a regular but he was so welcoming. The bartender had a relaxing vibe. The atmosphere was great, black and inviting. They even had placemats!!!

Super sad. We wanted to stay close to home tonight so we got takeout here. They said it would be about 30 minutes. My husband and son were waiting and he called and said “how long did they say” I told him 30 minutes. So my husband went up and asked and they apologized but they accidentally gave our food away. So my husband had to wait about an hour for our food with our 3 year old son. The manager apologized and said he would toss in a gift card in the bag for the inconvenience. Get home, they give my husband about 10 fries with his meal, the grilled chicken wrap didn’t have the garlic mayo or avocados. And no gift card. I hate to be annoying but food is expensive and my family just spent about 100$ on your restaurant and I’m just very disappointed. Update: manager called me this morning

We had Helene wait on us and she was wonderful. She was very attentive. We enjoyed the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer. My steak tips were cooked to perfection and I enjoyed them. We brought home a delicious dessert called caramel crunch. We will be back!!

First time visiting and we weren’t disappointed. Our party of four all enjoyed the food. The buffalo cauliflower was one of the best we’ve had, perfectly crisp with no mush. My husband loved his steak dish, and our friend loved the pasta dish. Two of us ordered the caprese sandwich, which was yummy, but we both agreed it would have been even better served warm… maybe grilled as a panini.
