The Black Sheep absolutely delivers. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, relaxed, and intentional — the kind of place that knows exactly what it is and executes it well. Now… let’s talk about the Bang Bang Shrimp because WOW. Perfectly cooked shrimp with that light, crispy exterior and a sauce that hits all the right notes — creamy, sweet, a little heat, and dangerously addictive. Balanced, not heavy, and clearly made with care. The kind of dish you think about after you leave and immediately want again. Huge shout-out to Mariah behind the bar — she was fantastic. The Black Sheep is a bit rough around the edges, but that’s part of its charm. It’s a true hole-in-the-wall restaurant with strong local vibes and friendly service. They were super accommodating to our large party, and Sunday brunch was solid—even though we didn’t realize it was brunch-only.

The waitress was so polite and attentive, we did not realize they did not have a bartender and ordered drinks. She was so sweet she still got our drinks and nailed it, it was so delicious. Got my usual haddock tacos as always five star deliciousness. When I get the burger I always ask for the aoli for the tocas on it

Arrived before the dinner rush and had excellent service. Nachos are massive and a great value. Fish and chips are also large portions. Fries, regular and sweet potato, were tasty. Very cute, small restaurant. Right off of Rt 1, easy access to get into and out of. The restaurant seats about 40 people, and they also have a bar that seats 10. We went for Sunday brunch, and the menu was limited but still had something for everyone. Ordered coffee, it was luke warm but they got us another cup. We all ordered breakfast dishes. The sausage gravy was loaded with sausage. You can't mess up eggs, bacon, and potatoes. The bathroom was clean, but it is small. There is a ramp for a wheelchair. However, the entrance is small, so it may be challenging to get in. Once inside, you can easily move around.
