This place is a gem in little Valdosta! A taste of the city, the feeling you are not in Valdosta anymore, but rather, NYC. The food is spectacular, the vibes unmatched, dim lighting, indulgent drinks. Do yourself a favor and bring your girlfriends or have your significant other book a reservation today!
The Bistro is fantastic! The food was absolutely amazing, and the meat was some of the best I’ve ever had. Service was top-notch, and the restaurant itself is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. However, it is quite dark, making it a little hard to see, and it’s extremely loud inside—my fiancé and I couldn’t even hear each other. Despite that, the food alone makes it worth visiting, and we would definitely come back.
Good overall experience. I wasn’t fond of the way the escargot was presented and tasted. Like the snails were sitting in a mushroom cap then covered completely with a layer of puff pastry
I enjoyed the atmosphere, however service seemed slow, and the food was worse. The cod was quite rubbery, and the sauce was anything but flavorful. I feel the amount of time I waited to recieve such a mediocre dish was not worth the premium price. Presentation of the plate was nice. Furthermore, the "bread service" was also nothing to write home about. It was four small slices of baguette(?) with what seemed to be bland unsalted butter with chives. The bartender was great though, and the green beans were satisfactory. Can't see myself returning unfortunately as I had high hopes. Left disappointed accompanied by a stomach ache.
As soon as we walk in, we got immediate seating so that was one of the best parts of my experience. The restaurant itself can get pretty crowded and it feels like a lot is going on around you. So you may be sitting right behind someone. When we ordered our food, I believe we waited about 30 to 45 minutes for the food to come out. I ordered the cod with lemon sauce, green beans, and mashed potatoes. The fish was good but the sauce I thought would taste way better, but unfortunately, I was let down. The green beans were some of the best green beans I’ve ever had. The mashed potatoes seems like they were instant mashed potatoes and had been sitting in a heated pot. My wife had to send her chicken back to the kitchen because it was too tough to eat, and the sauce was way too strong of mustard.
